New additions to the Wind Catching management team

On September 1st Wind Catching Systems welcomed two new additions to the management team. Ivar Knutsen has started as SVP Technical & Supply Chain and Daniel Engelhart-Willoch is our new VP Industry & Government Affairs.

At Wind Catching Systems we now have a management team with the competency to bring the Wind Catcher from a design concept proven by data modelling through its piloting and market introduction stages.

SVP Technical & Supply Chain Ivar Knutsen holds an MSc in Marine Systems Design from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has extensive experience in naval engineering, project management as well as relevant management experience from the marine engineering and energy sectors. He has held positions at Aker Solutions, Vard Group and Floating Energy Group. Ivar joins Wind Catching Systems from the position as technical lead on Havfram’s wind installation vessel development.

VP Industry & Government Affairs Daniel Engelhart-Willoch holds an MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics (LSE). He is leading our efforts to build a solid foundation for our interactions and partnerships with key stakeholders in the emerging Norwegian and international floating wind industry. Engelhart-Willoch joins Wind Catching Systems from the position of Policy Advisor at the Norwegian Wind Industry Association, where he has worked as an industry advisor to the Norwegian offshore wind sector and headed the organization’s political advisory on offshore wind regulation on behalf of the Norwegian wind power industry.
